Who
should participate in the Grace College Virtual Career Fair (VCF)?
Organizations: Any organization seeking to communicate current available positions or opportunities or organizations who are looking to identify qualified candidates for positions that may become available in the future, whether those positions be full-time, part-time, temporary, or internship opportunities.
Individuals: Grace College students and alumni as well as friends of the school seeking full-time employment, part-time employment, summer jobs, or internships. Students who are interested in exploring career fields and identifying organizations in those career fields would also benefit from participating in the VCF.

For
organizations, how do we set-up a "virtual booth" at the
VCF?
Once your organization has completed the registration form and has been verified by the VCF administrator (that’s me), you will receive a password that will allow you to customize your “virtual booth”. Much like going to a face-to-face job fair where you spread out information about your organization on the table, you will supply information to your virtual booth when you complete various pre-determined fields online.
It’s really a simple process, but if you have a question along the way, please don’t hesitate to contact me at (574) 372-5100 ext 6103 or by email at careers@grace.edu. If we are not readily available, we’ll follow up with you and help you create a great virtual booth.

How
will a participating organization know if any individuals visit
their booth?
Each organization’s booth has a visitor counter attached. Employer representatives may at any given time know how many visitors have visited their booth.

How
will individuals participate in the VCF?
Students and alumni participate by visiting booths—just like face-to-face career fairs. In doing so they may learn about the opportunities available as well as learn about each organization’s mission, goals, location, and other relevant information. The beauty of this job fair is that you will attend at a time convenient to your schedule, whether at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m. Even individuals who work days and evenings will find time to participate because the fair is open 24 hours a day.

I’m a job seeker. How can I benefit from participating in this job fair?
The keys to making this job fair a successful one are 1) to invest the time and 2) to follow up. First, applicants must invest the time to search through the “virtual booths” and learn about the kind of organizations and opportunities that exist. If you find an organization or opportunity that may match your interests, then contact the employer. If you’re really serious, be prepared to email your resume to the employer and stay in communication with them. Don’t be deterred from pursuing an organization that you are interested in just because they don’t have an immediate need in your specialty area.
